Play’n GO and Microgaming, now part of Games Global, are two of the most established names in online slots. Moon Games lists both among its providers. This guide covers four titles named for the casino: Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead, 9 Masks of Fire and Mega Moolah.
Book of Dead (Play’n GO)
An Egyptian adventure with explorer Rich Wilde.
- The book symbol acts as both wild and scatter.
- Three or more books trigger free spins.
- One symbol is chosen to expand across reels during free spins.
High volatility, with long quiet periods and big potential in free spins. It is one of the most popular slots in the UK.
Legacy of Dead (Play’n GO)
A follow-up with a similar Egyptian theme and book mechanic.
- Free spins with expanding symbols.
- In some versions, more expanding symbols can be added.
High volatility and a natural next step for Book of Dead fans.
9 Masks of Fire (Microgaming)
An African mask theme with a distinctive scatter system.
- Mask scatters pay anywhere on the reels.
- Free spins triggered by three or more masks.
- Medium volatility with regular scatter wins.
It offers a balance between steady play and bonus excitement.
Mega Moolah (Microgaming / Games Global)
The famous progressive jackpot slot.
- Four jackpots: Mini, Minor, Major and Mega.
- A random jackpot wheel can trigger on any spin.
- An African safari base game with free spins.
Because part of every stake feeds the jackpots, the base game RTP is lower than many other slots.

UK versions and gamble features
UK slot rules limit features that speed up play. Some international versions of these games include a double-or-nothing gamble feature after wins. In any version where it is available, the gamble adds risk without improving your long-term odds.
Jackpot expectations
The top Mega Moolah jackpot is extremely rare. Treat it as a dream, not a plan. Small stakes let you enjoy the game for longer while keeping a chance at the jackpot wheel.
Check RTP
Open each game’s information panel for its RTP and rules. Some titles exist in multiple RTP versions.
Smart habits
- Set deposit limits and session reminders.
- Choose stakes that let your budget last.
- Do not chase free spins or jackpots.
- Take regular breaks.
Choosing a starting point
If you are new to these games, start with 9 Masks of Fire for steadier play, then try Book of Dead to experience a classic high volatility free spins hunt. Keep Mega Moolah for small-stake jackpot fun rather than long sessions.
